I’m working on getting into reloading and found some CCI 250 primers for $140 /k and $45 shipping. Is that way high? I also haven’t seen them in stock for a while. Just wondering if I should wait for a better deal or just get some while I can.

Large rifle magnum primers come avaliable from time to time simi regularly. However, even with limits of how many can be purchased, they sell out very quickly. Get on several waiting lists with notifications, check daily, and purchase immediately. Putting items in your cart will not save them for you. Avaliability has gotten a bit better, but you must act without hesitation.

replacing components is hit or miss in todays new age.

look around at current events and politics. if liberals were to vanish today it would take years to get back to normal.

if you want it buy it now.

Get what you can and don't look back, want to shoot need the supplies. Really don't think it will get any better soon. And continue to add to the supplies when you can. If things don't change, there will be nothing under the current regime. It's like a boa constrictor slowly choking the life out the shooting, hunting and guns in the country.

Sounds like I should sell a few thousand of them if they are still selling for that much....
That's what I'm thinking. Heck, I sold 2000 Fed 215M's for $60/1000 just about a year or so ago, and still doubled my money even at that price. There's definitely something wonky going on with this industry still. There is no way the demand should "still" be this high, and the supply this low without some sort of external manipulation. The reason this all started was because of a supply issue during Covid. Well, that's long past. Supply should be plenty now even with an increase in demand.

Prices are sky high so would primer companies over supply?

They were available yesterday for $95 from another vendor. Outdoor Limited is the highest price for components on the internet.

You do know that the US is in a proxy war? That’s where most are going.

I just paid $179 delivered for a brick of 215M and about $20 less for CCI 250’s. It’s insane, but if you really want to blow your mind see gunbroker prices!
