Lanai Axis Deer Reports????

The Lanai public archery season has been going for almost a month now, does anyone have any reports on how the herd is on the public areas? A group of us went over in December and hunted rifle in the private area by the port and it was slim pickings to past trips. Hope they were all over at the public areas!!!! Any reports would be awesome as we are headed back in April.
