Kuiu Yukon gaiter sizing

I am in the market for some of the Kuiu Yukon gaiters and want some input from those that have them. I wear a size 12-13 but measured my calves as 16.5. This puts me in the XL range for shoe size and right on the line for calf size. Just wondering which measurement is more important. Will I be ok with the larges or do I need to bump up to the XL?

I'm also a 16.5" calf measurement and 12 shoe, and while I can squeeze into a pair of larges (once), I'd never buy them for everyday use.

I am 12-13 shoe, and my calves are 17" I have the XL and they are still a little snug. I have worn them with attack pants and socks.

I would go with the XL. I have a pair in L and my shoe size is 10 1/2 or 11. I borrowed a pair of XL this past fall and I could get by with them if needed.

I wear a nine and the large fit me good and don't fall down on my leg. I'd go with the XL
