Received the stretch woven pant and zip-t last week. Haven't worn them out yet, probably not until next month on a few scout trips. Optimistic the pants will make a nice early season pant and the zip-t will be good outer layer over the merino 145.

The fit for me is spot on at a 32". I own a pair of guide pants but not the attack so I couldn't compare the 2 for you.

I got the pants and the insulation jacket. I don't have the attacks, so I can't compare those, but I always wear a 33-34 in jeans and I ordered the 36 in the Teton based on Kuiu's sizing chart. They fit pretty good, maybe just slightly loose in the waist but I think a 34 would be too tight. Overall they seem well made, but I haven't worn them out hiking yet. The insulation jacket I got in the large. It doesn't fit as tight as the Kenai, so the large fits well. I'm 6'2" 200 lbs athletic build, for reference.

how do you like the isulation piece so far? they don't give much specifics on how much insulation level is inside, I'm interested in that or the krytek kratos for an under a softshell warmth layer that still packs down pretty small for carrying in and out in a pack.

I haven't had a chance/reason to use the insulation piece yet. It easily goes under a softshell (I tried it) and it packs down pretty small. I stuffed it into a size small Kuiu roll top bag and it only took up about half of the bag. It is very quiet and has a soft feel to it also. I don't know if it says how much insulation it has, but I will check tonight. It isn't very thick. Overall, it seems like it will be a good piece.

No insulation rating anywhere. It is really comfortable on. It is a little longer in the back than the front. It does not fit tight. The sleeves are slightly baggie than I line but not bad. I could fit this over my Core4Element Down Jacket.

This is the side of the body of the jacket laying flat.

Thanks, do you have any other isulation pieces you can compare percieved warmth and fit against.

I'm really looking for a packable form fitted jacket that will work mainly as a mid layer under a softshell but could also be toss on as a quick outer. Until this piece came out I was considering the Superdown, kratos, possible the kenia

Like I mentioned i have the Core4Element Down jacket. The Core4 is a little puffier and seems like it may be a little warmer. But I think the Teton will be more versatile since it should breathe better, is quieter, lighter, etc. It packs down small. It should be good as a mid or outer layer, as long as you're not busting through thick stuff that would tear it up. I put it on underneath my Kuiu Peloton 240 hoodie no problem (also size large). I do not own the Kenai but I did try it on at the hunting expo and it was much tighter in the arms for sure and a little tighter overall. In a large I wouldn't have been able to get much more than a thin base layer or two under it. I also think the insulation may be a little thicker on the Kenai. Kuiu lists the weights at 11.7 oz for Teton and 13.4 oz for non-hooded Kenai.
