Kuiu solid pants

I have the same issue with mine. Curious what others experience is.

One trip out, not even through that thick of brush. I was sick to my stomach.

Mine started to do that a week in. I used them on a week long MT elk hunt and the stitching started to come loose as well. The hip vents were great but they just didn't seem that durable. I went with the Sitka timberlines and even though they don't have the hip vents they are extremely durable. I got rid of all of my kuiu clothing after that. Now I shun them all together and motivate others to do the same.

I’ve never bought new attacks for this reason. I can stomach it on a used pair. Tiburons (bought new) didn’t have that problem. Their now discontinued Teton zip T has the same problem. What’s funny is now owning both at the same time I swear it’s the same material except the shirt is brushed on the inside.

If you want a solid color pant with the kuiu features and a more robust material I read Skre is doing solids next year. The hard scrabble pants are like the attacks but with a more Sitka ish material.

I hunt in Timberlines almost exclusively but the Kuiu pants looked good and were CCW-friendly. So all their pants do this? The Sitka Territory pants are okay but don't handle the weight of a sidearm as well.

I believe just the attacks are prone to it. I know a few who run the guide pants with no pilling.

This company is constantly launching and discontinuing products. Their customers are the R&D Dept. Whatever happened to product testing and QC before you introduce a new item? How hard is it to figure out if your tent leaks or not? Classic case of an innovative designer with no real business acumen. The owner at About Us writes"

"So more and more I decided that I was going to share everything with the KUIU customer. I'm going to tell them as much as I know about the products, as much as I know about the fabrics, and as much as I can share about who makes each product and where they come from. I wanted total transparency. I never understood why, unless you have something to hide as a company, you wouldn't tell your customers who you're buying from and how you're making things. I have nothing to hide."

Kinda funny coming from a guy who censors posters on his message board when product failures are reported.
They have an anniversary sale going right now and their Paypal button is broken. Typical Kuiu.

I Love my kuiu Attack pants and would not trade them for NOTHING. I've had them for at least 3 years now and they are still going strong no pilling. I think the most abuse they took on one hunt was 5 days of beating around the Central Nevada mountains. stomping through rocky terrain, thick sage brush and bitter brush. They breathe extremely well and the hip vents are game changers for me. I have a lot of kuiu clothing and have not had any issues. cant say the same for other popular company's.

What side arm and holster? I carry a G19 both hip and appendix with a Galco Triton for concealed carry with my territories I just got today. I was actually pretty happy with it even with a less than stiff belt

After a month my new Attack pants are pilling already, are all the Kuiu pants prone to this?

My Attack pants do this as well. I've had them for 2 seasons and only wear them hunting. My Chinooks do not have this problem. I have wondered some about kuiu clothing durability. I have a superdown ultra jacket that leaks feathers like crazy and rips super easy. I bought it in a solid color because I wanted to wear it around town as well as hunting. It will stay in a closet now until a trip comes up. That all said, ultralight materials and garments probably aren't going to wear like iron. Attack pants are still my favorite overall pant in terms of comfort and features.

G22 w/ Sticky holster, transfers from hip to cab mounted magnet (when driving) in seconds. Very comfortable.
