kuiu pants

I want a new pair of pants. I usually wear sitka ascent but purchased the tiburon pants and shorts this year. The side pockets on both pair of kuiu are too small at the opening . I can get bare hand in if I squeeze, forget about any gear in or out with my hand. My question is do the Attack pants have similar pocket attributes? I am 6' and wear size large glove. The attack cargo pockets are spacious enough. The hand pockets are pretty ill-conceived in my opinion. They're big enough to get my hand in, but so far up/forward on the pants that it's really not very comfortable to rest my hands in them. Because of their open top design, I also tend to get a bunch of crap (leaves/twigs) gathering in them. I like the pants except for the hand pockets.

The cargo pockets are large enough to store my leupold range finder at times as well as other small items. Have to agree on the hand pockets being slightly tight but isn't a deal breaker for me due to rarely using them.

This is my biggest critique of the Attack pants as well. I wore then two seasons, and there is not much to dislike about them other than this. After testing some pants this last year I have come to prefer integrated knee pads, but understand not all folks do. I've been running the Sitka Mt Pants since last spring and really like the pocket system on the Mt Pants. With that said, I'd like to try a pair of the new Alpine pants out. They seem to have changed up the pockets a bit. Just wish they offered them in a solid color or two.

The cargo pockets are large enough but the opening is just too tight for me to comfortably access. I do love the pants otherwise. The Tiburons pockets must be even tighter than the attacks.
