Kuiu or First Lite for Spring South East AK Brown Bear Hunt??

What would You Recommend Kuiu or First Lite?

First off Hope you all had a great Christmas & Thanks for all the input in my previous first post. Going this spring on a Brown Bear Hunt in South East Alaska and have narrowed down the Rain Gear and Layering system down to the Kuiu System with the Chugach or Yukon Coat and Pants and the First Lite layering system with the SEAK Jacket and Pants.

I ordered some of the Kuiu stuff to try out for every Day wear - the guide jacket and some shirts really liked them but seemed a little tight for the given sizes I know it's an athletic fit etc etc but I'm in decent shape work out everyday etc etc. Looking at the First Lite it seems to have a More generous cut and sizing that might be more comfortable for layering etc. The Guide Jacket I ordered in a XL and other that the Arms being really long it fit well FYI I usually wear the Jackets in Large Size.

I know this is kinda like Ford vs Chevy (I actually own both ) but would love to hear your guys feedback on them Both Companies already have a great reputation and make great stuff from all I have seen.

I love the Kuiu product videos and the story behind it BTW.

I run first lite because I like wool. I also get a nice discount for being a vet. I like asat and they have a variety of options for base layers, insulation and outerwear.

Kuiu doesn't offer that and I don't care for their camo patterns. I've tried on their goods and the fit is nice, lots of options but just not for me.

First lite. Their wool is awesome, they're a good company, help sportsmen and back up their products. They're customer service is also very good. First lites fusion is a dang good pattern too

I've tried them all! And I prefer Sitka to them all! They all make good clothes thou!
