I need to replace my raincoat I have been using for the last 10 years. I am primarily hunting bow hunting season in September and early gun season in October.

Is the Kuiu Kutana better option than Chugach nx.

They are both close in weight and Kutana is the newer design. it says 2 way versus 4 way stretch and breathabiltiy and durabilty as differences.

Looking to get my gear set by the next month.

Thank you for your thoughts.

After trying both for awhile this winter, I'd say the Chugach NX is the better dedicated rain gear. The Kutana feels more durable (I havent damaged either, so no real proof of this), but I don't feel it breathes as well, or is as waterproof as the Chugach. The Kutana is still decent rain gear, i just felt the Chugach was better. If weight or space isnt a big concern, the Yukon rain gear is superior to both.

Thanks.
I will be hunting colorado, idaho, montana usually high country but not northern idaho or washington wet.

I have the chugach pants and like them and looking to match the bottoms.

Thanks for the input.

If you’re not busting brush, I’d lean towards the Chugach in that area
