Are these tough enough for a goat hunt, busting through devils club? I need to get my wife a durable jacket and was just going to get a small Yukon jacket for her, but saw this....

Likely better off doing the Yukon or the Kutuna.

Chugach, Yukon or Kutana will get pinholes on a coastal goat hunt in devils club. The only think you can do to minimize this is to not wear it while bushwhacking. Get wet if you have to in order to pass through that zone of vegetation and then throw it on after you are out.

Or wear pvc rubber rain gear.
