Thoughts on the axis hybrid jacket vs the sitka stratus jacket? Thinking about replacing my stratus for midseason stand hunting and also still hunting. I have the sitka fanatic for cold stand hunting so it would need to get me down to around 40 degrees in the stand. I have plenty of layers too.

I don’t have the jacket, since I have a jet stream already, but bought the pants for this past season. I hunt in southern OK so pretty much was wearing these from around late October thru end of season. I would easily wear these by themselves down to about 50, with a base layer down to low 30’s, and with two bases into the 20’s (only a couple times I had to worry about that). I wanted to try out my super down pros with them but it never got cold enough.
This was stand/box blind hunting for the most part. Once or twice sat on the ground. they are a great pant to wear.
I would imagine the jacket performs as well. It is a warmer piece due to the fleece backer.
I went on a 2.5mile walk with my wife wearing these this past Monday, moderate wind and temps in the high 40’s. Nothing underneath the axis pants and a dry fit shirt under the jet stream. By the end of the walk I had opened the hip vents and put zips. Completely comfortable the whole time. Great piece of clothing if you don’t need complete waterproof and are looking for a versatile piece for 30’s-60’s static and probably 20’s (maybe lower)-50’s active.

Awesome! That's exactly what I'm looking for. Something for when it's either too warm to break out the sitka fanatic or I'm moving. Thinking I'd use it with the attack pants since my legs don't get very cold. Plus I have merino to layer under when needed.
