Kryptek Alios Pant Fit

I'd like to order a new pair of Kryptek Alios pants but I'm not sure about the waist size. I'm a lanky 6'4", 185 lbs and I know I need the 35" inseam. A 35" waist in just about any pair of jeans fits really well. I need a little bit of room in these pants for a merino base layer, but not much. Anyone have any experience/advice? Some of their stuff talks about a range, like 34-36, which would be perfect, but none of the sites that carry the Alios list them that way. It's either 34 x 35 or 36 x 35.

Size up. I'm 6'0" 205, not lanky. I wear a 38 in the Alios. My waist is 34". Sitka and Kuiu I wear a 36, but those were too small in the Alios.

Im similar in build and use the 34, the 36 were a little to loose

I had to size up as well...its not an issue though and they have velcro tabs on the waistline to tighten and loosen as needed. Even though mine are a little loose the tabs snug em up.

mine fit true. when i was heavier i had 34s. now i run 32s. they have stretch and also the velcro tabs to take up slack if you do decide to size up

Thanks guys. Next question...have you ever noticed the adjustment tabs being a cause for rubbing/chafing under a pack belt with a heavy load?

I haven't had any troubles with the adjustment straps.

Mine fit pretty true to size and no issue with the tabs.

I sized up from a normal 36 to a 38 but probably could have gone with a 36. It helps sizing up so I can get any type of layer on underneath without issue. Tabs take care of the rest. And I haven't noticed any issue with the tabs while carrying a load.Belt covers them up anyway.
