Anyone have any insight on living in Kremmlng or Eagle? I might have a job opportunity that would take me to eagle county and it looks like one of the places that's a reasonable commute and reasonably priced. I'm looking for any experiance with living in the area, I know the hunting and fishing has tons of potential but I have only been through the area and don't know anything about it.

Eagle is the other place we are maybe considering. I have a little more insight on Eagle but it's been quite a few years since I've been there so a lot has changed.

I'm a Colorado native so I have some idea of these areas, just looking for more. I have 2 young kids so a family town is highly desirable. Thanks in advance for the help.

I've lived in Eagle my entire life. Right now, however, I go to school in Fort Collins so my time in Eagle is limited to the summers and some weekends. I honestly can't think of too many places that I think would be a better place to grow up- Eagle is a truly great town. I'm very thankful for having grown up there.

Like Tanner I have lived in Eagle County my entire life. I left for the city to go to school but came running back to the mountains as soon as I could. Eagle is an awesome town to raise a family in, there is lots of stuff for the kids to do from bmx tracks, affordable team sports, skate parks, festivals and fairs. It has a small town feel but is still large enough to support a Costco and airport. However because it sits between the resorts of Vail and Aspen prices might be a little higher than youre used to. Gas is typically $0.30-$0.50 more per gallon than in cities and property is a bit more pricey as well. Small prices to pay for having such a great big back yard to get lost in. If youre a bow shooter the Brush Creek archery club sets up 3D shoots every wednesday all summer as well as indoor shooting during the winter. If a boom stick is more your style then there is a nice range in Gypsum but it doesnt offer long distances and has a membership cost. There are some longer ranges with gongs but they are pretty hushed so the rambo wannabes dont trash them by shooting and leaving fridges, tvs, water heaters etc. with their bushmasters.

I feel very lucky and blessed to have grown up in such an awesome place and the opportunities it has allowed me.
Hope this helps
Andy
