Kowa extender questions

I just realized that I could add an extender to my 88. Are any of you using one and what are the pluses and minuses? I am using my scope for the range and digiscoping, in addition to hunting. In particular I was wondering if it would be very helpful to have for photographing wildlife. Thank you. Pete

As a rule converters are as beneficial as detrimental.
Extra power comes at a cost of diminished light transmission.
Broad daylight diminished light will make the extra power worthwhile. Dawn and dusk it’s a no go

I have one for my 883. I take it off for most hunting because I value FOV quite a bit. It is easy to put in and take off. For digiscoping it is pretty rad, and even cooler at the rifle range.

I'd consider selling mine.
