I have a Kowa 553 that I haven't carried into the field in a few years so I think it's time to find it a new home.
The glass is in excellent shape. After a few years with a neoprene case on it I decided I like carrying it in it's current setup instead. It has a Vortex Defender flip cap on the objective, and is wrapped in vet wrap for some light protection. I can take the vet wrap off and rewrap it if desired. In fact I'll take the wrap off tonight and update with some more photos so you can see the body and only rewrap if the buyer wants me to.
Some quick notes on the scope and what's included. It has been in for warranty work once when a small wire or metal burr was noticed inside the scope affecting the view. Kowa repaired it at no cost. I'll include an Arca plate, the vortex flip cap, original caps and packaging as well as a ScopeCam universal digiscoping adapter. The ScopeCam is the older style but has the adapter ring and a multi position mag plate kit, in addition to some of the original tab mounts if you want to use it that way.
$1,050 for the entire package shipped. I'll accept PayPal or Venmo.
