Last 3 rifles that I sold and shipped/insured cost me $75 each through the postal service. Shipping big packages ain't cheap anymore.

Did you put in your ship to location? When I added my state, city, zip, the cost for FedEX ground became $53.53.

When I ship golf clubs in rifle boxes its ~$50 for FedEx or UPS

All guns sold are charged it under the pittman robertson act. It’s just factored into the price everywhere else.

FYI, for $1000 you can get an incredible ML from Woodman Arms, custom made in NH. Sub 6 lbs, completely stainless and nitrided, can use smokeless...
