I bought the origin and it’s not the same. It’s like a catalyst hoodie and way too tight in arms compared to the Klamath. Looks like a stone glacier helio grid is in my future

I like First Lite products, especially their base layers and various pants but they discontinue items quickly. They’re making it hard to be a repeat, long term customer.

Buy the Patagonia R1 Air instead. Size up one size if you are muscular or bulky. Much better piece than the other two you mentioned.

Is it a full zip. It’s the only one I can find with air is a full zip

Yes full zip is the way for a high exertion mid layer. Excellent hood, hand warmer pockets, and little chest pocket for calls/windchecker etc. Able to access chest pocket with bino harness on.

Makes for a great breathable sun shade while glassing at inopportune sun angles. Open up the full zip and drape over your head/neck and eye section of your binos. My R1 Air full zip hoodie is always in the pack or truck, probably my favorite piece of clothing I own.

I really am not a fan of the full zip on a mid layer I’ve got multiple Klamath hoodies. Maybe they will make it again later

they also discontinued the color Black version of items.
