Up for discussion is the creme de la creme of ultralight mountain rifles.
Rare, moss green stocked Kimber Mountain Ascent chambered in the versatile and far from archaic, .308 Winchester.
Bare rifle is 4 pounds, 13 ounces. This rifle will put 168 TMKs and ELDMs into the same hole at 100 (does not like 168 superformance though).
I'm the 2nd owner, and have carried this rifle all over WA and MT. Every critter it has been pointed at, has been DRT. It has typical signs of use, but is in overall great condition.
In a large, some might even call unnecessary, stable of Kimbers, this one doesn't get much use these days, so I'm looking to trade it for/towards something different.
I'll entertain trades for other synthetic stocked 84Ms (Montana, Adirondack, or MAs) in 7mm-08 or smaller. I would also trade the rifle+scope towards a nice Fieldcraft in a myriad of cartridges, 6CM being top of the heap.
Small chance that a well thought out Tikka build or Seekins would also do the trick...
Let me know what you've got to bring to the swap.
