The ammo & brass go with the rifle. Am only interested in selling this as its going to fund a new rifle.

Let me help some of you who are considering this and thinking you might get a Kimber Hunter in 280 AI cheaper. You are getting a $140 +/- rail. You are getting a threaded barrel which is roughly $100 to have done. The brake, even if cheapo is $40 +/-. You are getting 4+ boxes of ammo which, based on brand, is $120 as very low end estimate. 65 pieces of brass, I'm assuming is once fired, even if not premier brand, would still be $50 on the low end.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong as I tried to do my estimates on the low end; but, if you run the numbers, this is a pretty good package price. Oh, and my apologies for anybody who is reading my post and thinking "I wish he wouldn't have posted that as I've been thinking about nabbing this".

Heck, after typing all of that, I'm considering jumping on it and my 280 AI needs are already met.

Good luck with the sale freebird.

Dang it--I've been thinking about one, but "if only it were threaded". I've got an Ascent in 280AI but have looked at the Hunter too. The Murphy rails are sweet. Somebody buy this before temptation gets me!

Remove the goo in the stock and replace with grocery bags to deaden the hollow sound and you have a ~5-1/4 pound rifle. (Plus rail and brake). Only reason I sold mine was to have a custom built. These guns are crazy light and with no brake the recoil is surprisingly mild. Glws

Wow!! If I didn't have all the parts for my son's rifle purchased I would be all over this. What a smoking deal. I will be in Boise this month. If this is still here it may ride home with me!!!

Maybe get rid of that pencil thin barrel, put a carbon barrel and keep it. Who knows.

This is pretty dang tempting still. I'd have to move my Daniel Defense AR upper to justify this though lol
