For sale is a Kimber 8400 Montana that has been re-barreled and chambered in a 6.5 SAUM (aka 6.5 GAP 4s). The barrel is a #3 fluted 8 twist McGowen finished at 23 inches. The stock is the lightweight Kevlar-carbon factory model that has been repainted. It has a few light wear marks on the finish from strapping to a pack but no damage to the stock. Pictures include the major marks in the finish.
Included with the rifle is a Redding type-s match full length die set, 50 pieces of head-stamped unfired Hornady brass, 1" Talley rings, and a 0 MOA Nightforce aluminum pic-rail. I'm not splitting anything at this time.
This rifle has less than 20 rounds down the barrel. It was re-barreled, bedded, and proofed by the smith and was never shot after picking it up. It was chambered with the intent to shoot 143/147 ELD's. Weight with rings is 6.55 lbs.
