Kifaru Supertarp Pics and peg/pole kit?

I am very interested in getting a Kifaru Supertarp this year but am a little worried about the set up without using trekking poles. I bring my poles to use them and not as heavy tent poles. Can anyone tell/show me what the Kifaru peg and pole kit looks like?

Also, can anyone comment on using branches as tent poles for the supertarp?

Thanks

The peg and pole kit is just durapegs and an adjustable aluminum pole.

I had a paratipi and used large branches all the time for supports. They work great if you can find one that is the right size or one to cut/break to size.

Sticks work well, otherwise, if you don't mind carrying 1 trekking pole all day (what I do when im not hunting) Is to use 1 of your poles for the front pole, and carry an arrow shaft to use as your back pole.

IMO the kifaru aluminum poles are way overkill, I would use a stick, trekking poles, or make my own. Im not the biggest fan of durapegs either. All personal preference though.

Here is a photo of the pole kit. 8 sections each running about 10 inches.

Thanks guys. Those are some pretty heavy duty poles. Would a regular easton tent pole cut to lenth work?
