Lol you are seeing things. This mostly sat in a closet has about two training hikes on it that was just around the block.

Um I’m not sure. It is made out of xpac but holes means it would probably leak due to the sewing. Either way I owned the older muskeg models as well. Always stored sleeping bag and warming layers in a dry bag as a precaution.
