Kifaru Field Chair?

Kifaru collectors item. Had one- didnt much like it so sold it. There are a variety of knockoffs out there for much cheaper if you want to try the concept.

Didn’t do much for me. I get the same function sitting against my pack. good investment though ...they will sell for like 4 times what they sold new. There was one on eBay a few weeks back, think-it went for like 140

Squirrelly,
I had a red Kifaru field chair that sat around for about 12 years and only used it a few times.
It got more dirty sitting around in the bottom of my camp totes.
So this last summer I first posted it on the Kifaru classifieds.
Then someone told me about the potential on ebay, so I pulled it and posted it on ebay.
Got $121 for it. My wife was impressed.

Reaper,
I like your field chair and how you use trekking poles for the back supports.
What are the dimensions of your chair? I made a tent like the SO BTB and am looking for another project to do.
This one looks like a nice project.

I had one. It was okay.

I stupidly sold it for what it cost not knowing these are now going to the highest bidder.

IMO they don’t stand up to what has come out recently in terms of lightweight chairs

I’d be interested in dimensions too. I’m thinking of making one that will double as a quarter panel for training weight and for meat only trips.

I'd be interested in the dimensions as well. I read 37" or 38" for length, not sure about top and bottom widths. I'm sure with a little playing around I can probably guess close enough though.

I guess I’m one of the few that actually liked it and still find it useful.
not quite my Helinox chair, but easier to carry
