Kifaru duplex waist belt size?

Hoping some one can help. I purchased used a bag and frame last year. Work great but I sit between sizes. Came with a what I thought was a medium belt. Fit fine early season but it got tight when bundle up. Now I have two belts, just order a large duplex. When comparing my medium to my large, the large looks so much bigger. Is there a way to distinguish a medium belt without the tag?

Hard to tell with the one being broken in but, the first thing is what is your measurement level around the belly button?

My medium duplex is almost 34in long flat from pad end to pad end if that’s helpful. Not real scientific as it’s mounted to my frame still, but tried to get it as flat as possible.
