Kifaru duplex lite frame with EXO k3 6400 bag?

I read the “franken pack” thread about attaching the older packs to the older frame from 2015. With the updates to both companies, has anyone attempted attaching one of the new k3 packs on the Kifaru duplex lite frames?
I know nothing of exo frames, but love the 6400 pack layout… I know I love the Kifaru duplex frame but I don’t like any of their bag designs, so this is a simple fix (I hope) to get what I want.

Same boat man, I’m gonna try it this week with the tactical frame. My biggest concern is load shelf integration. I’m gonna try the crib panel to see how that works with the bag and Kifaru frame

I was in the same boat love the frame but can’t find a bag I like. I have a 3200 on a duplex lite frame. It mounts almost like it was made for it. I replaced all the buckles with autolocks to make it easier. I keep a grab it and extra strap for securing the load in the load shelf.

You might as well post pics because you're gonna get asked to lol

Here’s some photos for those that are wondering it’s very easy to make it fit. I had a bunch of extra slotted buckles so I just swapped all the exo buckles over to the ones kifaru uses.

That pack looks great!

I am new to Kifaru....just bought a frame here and it fits nice but not thrilled with their packs. Love the EXO bag...is there a basic kit that I would need to purchase from Kifaru? Or just count attachment points?

Bringing this up again... I haven't attempted this yet but is is pretty easy to figure out?

Love the exo bags but don't think I love the frame as much as I love my kifaru frame.

Super easy. You just need your frame and bag of choice, and the kifaru compression strap kit. The compression straps have a k-clip on one side that you'll hook into the tab loops on the side of the frame.

The only 'mod' is the buckles on the compression straps don't match the buckles on the Exo pack, so decide whether you want to cut the buckles off the pack and get some slotted auto locking buckles to put on, or take the buckles off the straps and put on ones that match the Exo buckles(rock lockster buckles). I chose to match the Exo buckles rather than cut them off, possibly easier to sell the bag only down the road.

Other than that, the compression straps on the bottom of the bag fit perfectly through the tabs on the bottom of the frame. The top of the bag fits perfectly over the top of the frame, with the spacing for the load lifters. Other than getting the side compression straps sorted, it's a perfect fit.

I'm hoping when the new EXO frame comes out, you won't have to worry about the Duplex anymore.

Where did you get them? I'm finding some on Amazon but not sure they are the right ones

I just asked for a few extra buckles when I ordered the bag from Exo. I'm pretty certain they're the 1"/25mm rock locksters, but it might be worth emailing Exo to ask and make sure.

Older thread here but have a question. Where on the Duplex Light frame do you connect the back of the Exo lid to?

I used K Clips and attached it right to the Exo Pack. The K3 has Tab Loops attached to the pack at just the right location. If you look closely at OPs last picture you can see them where his shoulder strap attachment is.

I took some old webbing I had and cut them to the same length as the straps that are sewn on the exo frame then attached them to the extra tab loops on the duplex lite frame and put exo buckles on the end that attaches to the lid. It functions virtually the exact same way as the exo frame and is clean looking. Key is getting the lite frame which has 5 tab loops on each side and not the ultralite which only has 3. I've been using this setup going on season 7 this year and it's awesome. I haven't found a kifaru bag I like more than the exo bags yet and doubt I ever will and the kifaru frame crushes the k3 in load hauling, IMO.
