I recently bought the following gear from Kifaru that I now want to sell because I have chosen to stick with my old pack:
1) Kifaru Dall pack ( new price $325)
2) Duplex Lite Frame ( new price $368)
The frame has the following features: 26" frame length, Long Shoulder Straps, a Medium Waist Belt, and Semi-Flat stays and the color is ranger green
3) One large X-Pack pouch ( new price $48)
4) One medium X-Pack pouch ( new price $45)
5) Two small X-Pac pouches ( new price $86).
6) Mil-Tec BW Backpack Rain Cover ( new price $28.47)
Amazon link for rain cover: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EQ290UE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The total bill for these items was $900.47 plus tax.
I seam-sealed the pack with "Gear Aid Seam Grip Silicone Sealant for Silnylon Tents and Tarps" which was suggested by the customer service person I talked to at Kifaru. I used more than the suggested amount of this product and made sure the seams were completely covered in this product so the seams on the inside of this pack do not look pretty but they are aggressively sealed. I also got a few small splotches of the seam-sealer on the outside of the bag but they are very minor. Please note that you cannot see the excessive seam sealer from the outside of the bag.
I only used the pack one day then decided to stick with my old hiking pack which is lighter and does not have a meat shelf which is unnecessary for me since I am a long trip angler and a day hunter who does not need such a robust pack.
For now I am asking $700 for everything and I will pay for shipping to the lower 48 states in the US.
