hi guys , I am looking at buying my first bigger pack,
I live on a station (ranch) in central Australia and mainly bowhunt goats and pigs, but I am looking at doing some hunts for sambar and also camel so these may be 3-6 days, most of my hunting is just day hunts, but I am keen to get into the whole backpack hunting.
I want a pack that could do a 5-6 day hunt but still be able to compress down for day hunts if needed.
I am nearly sold on the 44 Mag, just wondering if it might be to big, though I suppose its better to have the room and not need it …..
Rain isn't a huge problem out here but I was wondering how waterproof the kifaru packs are, and if I need to worry about a rain cover?
I am mainly looking at the kifaru stuff, I haven't heard too many bad things about their stuff other than price, but I don't mind paying for quality.
also with the fitting I am 5'10 weigh about 180 with a 32" waist and 34" inseam. not sure what size frame I should get.
cheers Bodie
