The pictures of what I assume to be the ranger green 14'r on the Kifaru website look much brighter than the ranger green pictures of the Woodsman. Can someone confirm if they are different or if it's just a color problem with the picture. Thanks.

They might have stopped offering it in OD because they're starting to wind down their OD offerings.

The 14'er pic is in OD and not Ranger Green. They haven't added a pic in Ranger and haven't pulled the OD pic off the site. My Ranger Antero and 14'er look the same. Here's a pic of them.

Thanks, that RG 14'r looks great. What color is the SG?

It's the standard SG gray.

Pics aren't great because of my iPhone 6, living room lighting, and that silly green leather chair. Probably not the best choice for a side by side comparison pic.

mrbillbrown, have you done a review of the 14'r? I really am liking the look and specs of that pack.

No sir. Not a formal review. Medal Hunting did a pretty good one. Can't remember the thread title but he did a lengthy review.

I took it out a week ago for a 10-12mi spot and stalk (think wandering around the woods of central OK for 6-7hrs) with 35-40# in or attached to the 14'er and it worked well. I had swapped some 22" arrows into it for a trial run at an EDC type pack (a hair big but worked great btw) and forgot to change back to the 23" arrows before heading out. It still carried the weight well. The load felt solid on my back and the lumbar pad actually does pivot with you while moving about the woods. Super comfortable. The shorter height and slimmer profile worked well to duck in and out of heavy growth areas. Access to all my gear was great and the built in organization was fantastic. I was definitely impressed with the 14'r and look forward to carrying it anytime I'm whitetail hunting or just taking a short day trip.
