I’ve been using a Kestrel Drop D3 with Strelok Pro and it’s been working great so far! It’s tiny and lightweight.
Downside is it’s another unit and no on/off switch. I love rangefinders with onboard sensors but this seems like a great way to get good data very quickly if you don’t mind the phone. Wind is so easy as well on strelok pro. It’s always interesting to see the drop data with different wind directions.
Has anyone else used this? I still use a chart taped to stock in the field but at the range this has been excellent and pretty cheap. It reads density altitude and syncs really well with strelok pro.
Was curious if others have found it useful for environmentals or how they are using it.
