K-Clips on Kifaru Frames

I just received my new Reckoning w/ the duplex hunting frame and I noticed they replaced the K-clips with buckles.
Has anyone else received buckles in replace of K-clips that attached their load lifters to the frame?

Yea. I ordered a 22” Frame about this time last year that came like that. I actually prefer it. Seems the pull is smoother.
