Just drew my first sheep tag for S11!

I am not whining about anything. Just noticing and curious about distinct differences in hunting Sheep on your side of the border. Data is collected in Alberta as well, accessing it is way harder. We don't get GPS for kill locations, size of Ram killed info etc.

To the OP. Go get em. Hope you enjoy the heck out of Sheep hunting and end up getting a great Ram.

Not trying to bash. Here in Alberta no one is giving you ANY help on Sheep. I would not dream of applying anywhere I had no knowledge of. Was genuinely curious, do people share vital info more because it is "once in a lifetime"? I shot a Ram here two years ago and no one in my immediate family even knows where. Have told no one even what zone.
.

This is how it should be.

Well I woke up this morning, but it still feels like I am dreaming. I just drew my first and possibly only sheep tag!!! I don't think I will ever have the budget for an out of state sheep hunt. So I am going to put everything I have into being successful this fall.

It is a first rifle S11 tag, I plan on scouting every bit of free time I have this summer. I am a new father, my son turns 1 in august. So free time is more precious than gold at the moment. Any help from those who have hunted S11 for sheep in the past would be greatly appreciated. I would be more than happy to buy you dinner, meet up for beers. I have already started looking at stats from cpw. But any one out there who has hunted sheep in S11 I would really love to pick your brain.

Thanks & Good luck to everyone this season!
Have not seen you sign up yet or respond about the Bighorn Society Sheeop and Goat hunter Meet & Greet yet? See post #5 in this thread. Hunters helping hunters is such a cool thing you will experience and benefit from in spades if you attend.
