Just bought my first backpack tent

With a lot of help from this forum and YouTube I finally decided on a tent. I went with the Tarptent Stratospire 1 pretty excited about it!

Don't think you can go wrong with that. I just picked up a Notch over the holidays after a couple of years admiring TT's stuff. Can't wait for hiking season.

I think it does everything I want a tent to do!!!! I almost bought a Nemo Dagger 2 but I just wasn’t crazy about the fact it had no upper vents! I called Tarptent he walked me through all the different models and suggested a few that would fit what I needed for a backpack/backcountry shelter. I’m beyond excited to start using the compilation of new gear I have purchased in past couple months!

I just picked up my first tent EVER too (Cimarron). Should be here on Monday and i'm excited beyond belief about actually going out and using it. Good luck with the tent on your adventures.

Awesome Tent! I used it last year. Plenty of space for you and your gear. You can also use it as a floor-less shelter if you wanted as well. You won't be disappointed.
