I think a lot of guys would be surprised at the terrain of Southern Indiana. It's not comparable to a sheep or hunt, and it's not 4,000' vertical, but it is steep and you may go up and down several significant "hills" in a day. A good pack is important. I've killed a lot of animals in that country and I can attest that it's not a gentle stroll.
And like was said, the Kifaru and Kuiu are different animals. The Kifaru being the more heavily built, the Kuiu being more of an ultralight sort of thing. I'm a Kifaru and Barney's guy. I'm not an ounce-counter, and prefer bombproof in a backpack.
