I've been wearing minimalist shoes for 15 or so years, but when I started hunting after moving to Colorado a few years ago, I used big, thick, supportive typical hunting boots. I've tried Lowa, Zamberlain, Crispi, and Oboz. But, I've been looking for something minimalist and couldn't really commit to Vivobarefoot boots, though I've been wearing their shoes for 10 years or so. I was about to order some Jim Green African Ranger minimalist boots in a few sizes from their website, but decided to check Expert Voice and GOVX for a discount, and GOVX had one. I'm just a nurse, but police, military and veterans, first responders, plus others can sign up for an account. They have good discounts on other stuff too. I have included a link to the eligibility page if you want to see if you qualify.
