Just bought a new KOA Light Hunter from Black Ovis, and was somewhat disappointed when I pulled it out of the sheath. Many tool marks and fit and finish issues. I know they aren’t the best knives ever in terms of fit and finish and they truly are tools. Just wanted your all’s opinions before I sent her back. See pictures

Idk that is pretty poor quality.
But its just a tool and should get used.
Maybe through a feeler out to black ovis and see what they say. Maybe they would hook ya up.

Not confidence inspiring QC on KOA’s part. But, I’d still use it. Does‘t look like anything that will affect performance.

Those knives are a bargain even before the discount. I think you should be focusing on the edge and bevel since you probably bought it to cut things. Is the hook and blade sharp?
