Looking at doing a high country mule deer hunt in the Wyoming range. Is there anyone out there that hunted the Wyoming range lately? How did you do?

I hunt it regularly. What region tag you wanting to try. Region G or H? Ask away, I'll answer the best I can. I only hunted it for a 3 night stint in September this year. Seen some decent 4 points.

I live right under them. Both areas G and H can produce great deer!! My dad knows them like the back of his hand and has done many back country Muley hunts in the wyoming range. If you have any ?'s ask away

East side is H and is the best side. Most east facing slopes in the Wyoming Range have better deer country than west facing. G is on the west side and a different tag for non-residents. I was always perplexed that G&F would divide a region on top of a ridgeline. Can be frustrating to stay legal.

Lots of pressure early, like most of Wyoming Range. As long as you don't have to kill a 200 incher, should see bucks to make you happy.
