I volunteered to build an Iron ranger for our archery club here thinking a Google search would give me some build instructions....

Ugh Uh....very little on this. I've seen them...and have an idea but detailed photos or plans or something would be nice if any of you guys could help me out.

In case you aren't familiar, its a secure steel depository for cash donations....key term being secure. Its going to be in a remote location so I need to make it theft proof impervious to a grinder, bolt cutter, etc. We had an attempt on one of our one of our steel storage containers last week....and the lock on our [wood] building gets chopped regularly...though there is nothing but old 3D animals, lumber, nails and such in there.

I really dont see it, remember the old saying there isn't a toy a child can't break, same with this, torch, grinder. sawzall hell they most likely would whinch it off of its base take it home and then cut it up. Remote to me means time, access and privacy to do what ever they wish.
Sorry but I really think you are wasting alot of time and money

CHarvey, thanks man!

Yeah, its a challenge to make this theft proof. I swear some of these thieves could make more money working a real job with all the time they take to rip you off. We had our stuff at a construction yard and guys came in with those portable grinders, torches and were cutting the hinges off of containers and the back of semi trailers to break in...it was nuts.

if it wasn't on park dist property I would tack weld some thin hollow tube and fill it with gunpowder and epoxy a top on it.....but alas....can't do that
