All, I am curious how you store your insulin (Novolin N) while in the high country? The temps swings I anticipate are between -20 and 4 deg F and need to figure out a way to store it without it freezing with no power.

Thanks

For my son when it's cold he has a pair of long John's with a pocket. It goes in that pocket while hunting and sleeping.

I keep mine in the sleeping bag with me at night, pack during the day, and pocket if it's going to freeze in my pack. As long as you'll use the entire vial within a month or so of opening, there's really no need to worry about most temps other than freezing.

Forgot a handy tool I use sometimes....get a spi belt. It's like an elastic band you can wear around your midsection. I use it for my pump, but the pockets can fit all kinds of stuff. Would be great for keeping insulin next to your body in those cold temps
