Was unpacking some winter gear and I can’t find my old insulated bottle holder - a +15 year old OR belt mounted pouch with a zipper.

what is the new 2022 hotness for keeping a nalgene from freezing in cold temps?

58 bucks!! Holy Jose!!
I always see these 40below ones at a climbing shop in town. I have an old OR one I use. If it ever falls apart or disappears I’ll probably grab one of these.

I’m looking at getting one of these after having my water get slushy last week. I do put a stick on toe warmer on my bottles in the tent at night. I bet that would help quiet a bit in the holder.

I picked up my OR version after having my bottle freeze solid On a couple of trips. It sucked to carry around a block of ice while I ate snow until I could get it defrosted.

Nalgene makes one for 20 bucks and there are some neoprene sleeves for like 8 buck on Amazon… you could always carry an insulated bottle bottle but they can get heavy

As mentioned above, the guys at @HARDSIDE make a really great insulation cozy for Nalgene. Their "bladder hose" (sub bladder for said Nalgene) is a pretty solid option for cold temps too. I've had both in late season hunts with zero freezing issues.
