Install 2 dampers in 6” stove pipe

I have a basic wood stove in my shop - with a 6” flue and damper.

I’ve seen that Davis Tent makes a baffle for their stoves (Sleep More Baffles)
Unfortunately that accessory won’t fit on my stove.

I was wondering if anyone has installed 2 dampers in the flue of their wood stove to really choke down the fire or made their own baffle.

This seems like a good idea, but no I haven't, and sometimes I make poor choices, so don't take my word for it that's it real actually is a good idea.
