so in my boot search, i bought a pair of crispi nevada and have been extremely happy so far. Been using them on the stair master and walking around the neighborhood with no issues. so i started to think that some of you replace the insoles of your boots with superfeet. now i know the superfeet are all different. living in south FL, i do not have the chance to try them in my boots. how would i go about choosing a good pair? i dont want to run into an issue where i have to try on multiple pairs to find something that fits my feet. that would be a lot of money wasted.

Their website does a good job of explaining what each is for. You need to match your feet with their description. The green work good for me and seem to be pretty popular.

Do you have a REI near you? If so they will let you try out the insoles in the store to see what ones you like. I ended up going with the comfort ones.

Personally, I don't care for superfeet. They have no padding to speak of and the one pair I put in my hunting boots the heel cup cracked on my very first trip. I had been using superfeet for a couple years in my sneakers, but this experience turned me off of them for anything heavy duty...YMMV.

I went to Bass Pro Shops and picked up a set of SofSoles FIT and have been using them the last two seasons and strongly prefer them to the superfeet. They have a slight padding under the ball of the foot that is really nice, and they have held up well for me. They also had a foot-mapping station at BPS that told me the right insole for the shape of my foot. Plus I got to buy from a store that supports the second amendment!

I don’t have an REI but I do have a bass pro 30min from me. I’ll check them out
Thanks for the heads up
