I recently purchased a Kuiu Venture 2300 pack.
Is there a good rifle sling attachment to where I can carry the weight of the gun on the pack versus the shoulder?
What are you all using?
TIA

I have never used the venture or had one in hand, but since discovering the kifaru gun bearer, that’s the way I like packing rifles(and my bow)

The universal should work fine for you, and if you’re right handed, left side carry would probably be best. I like my barrel isn’t hanging up in the brush, and it’s faster than a conventional sling to get your rifle ready, and that’s not an exaggeration

Some people don’t care for them because your barrel is in front of you, but I got used to it quickly

I have always hated traditional slings for various reasons, and I don’t like my rifle strapped to my pack and slow to access (and a lot of movement) they have a big bucket on the gun bearer so you aren’t trying to squeeze the stock in it, and it fits even the largest cams on bows… even the massive dual track prime cams

Not everyone’s favorite option, but it’s mine

Gun bearers work. I strap it on my pack, and there is no movement.

Check out OBI, you can put a small clip on the rifle and a small ball on the pack strap. The weight is still on your shoulder strap, but better than a sling.
