I have read pros and cons for a year and looked at each manufacturer's web sites at least 47,000 times...I wanted a new "later" season system for Hunting in Colorado/Wyoming/Idaho Oct thru December... Many times will be on horseback so the weight issue isn't always priority but if on my back the lightweight will be appreciated...
I ended up going with Enlightened Equipment and went with the 0 degree Rev X, the reviews were always good and the price was very competitive (a freakin bargain actually)...the fact the owner posted on here also played a role in my decision especially after seeing how he conducts himself and treats others and I can't say I've seen anyone post as much as a mild complaint. I went lower just because I've always had bags that compromised some warmth for weight but I just wanted a cozy night under the stars...not a 2 am fetal ball wake up just to save weight...btw I'm almost 40 so I'm getting comfortable more often as a priority.
Now I will say that the new 2014 stuff is out today and it looks like I may have just gotten one of the last...the newer stuff looks great too!
Thanks for all the great info on this forum as it was clearly from folks who have USED their gear...
