And not in a good way. Put in for CO GMU 35 for archery deer...checked the back door and didn't get drawn. So...my options are now going to be to either hunt my second choice (GMU 25) or third choice (GMU 18). Neither of which I'm thrilled about. Was hoping that you guys and gals could either talk me into hunting these units...or help me devise another plan to hunt in either Idaho or South Dakota. Alternatively, I could just go solo for OTC elk...which is kinda what I'm leaning towards honestly. Anyone wanna talk me down from the ledge?!?

Ya if go solo then, don't see why you didn't draw a 35 tag, that's kinda weird musta been the one unlucky guy

I don't know why I didn't either, but I'm not gonna let that keep me from hunting, might just have to change gears.

On the bright side, going into 2015 I'm gonna have 2 points in WY and a point in CO, gotta look on the bright side of things!

The CPW has been doing some wierd stuff with the res drawing numbers in the last few years, especially with deer since our population numbers are dropping so much. If it was me I would just grab a. OTac either sex elk tag and have a fun hunting season.

I didn't draw that tag either. I am in the exact same stages of planning otc elk now. I was pretty shocked too that I didn't draw.
