Long time looker, seldom poster. Yeah we are those 1st time Idaho hunters.

We as a group end up with Unit 19A General Deer Tags. Not looking for much or honey holes. just a few questions. feel free to DM if you dont want any information to be seen publicly.

We know the terrain is rugged, is it necessary to have a utv/atv/motorcycle for this unit to save time?

Seems like the unit's harvest success is low witch we are fine with. Just curious if it's worth buying a wolf and mountain lion tag for that area.

Would it be pointless/waste of money to fly into the Mackay Airstrip to Access the NE part of the unit? Just seems like a cool and afforable way to experience a bush plane flight as we most likely will never make it to Alaska.

willing to share some Central MT/Western ND tips if needed.

Thanks!

A motorcycle or utv is certainly handy in the unit. There are a few motorcycle friendly single lane trails.
