Idaho Sheep Area 27-1?

Has anyone hunted or killed a ram there? I would like some info if you'd share. Please send me a message.

Haven't hunted Sheep but I've spent a lot of time in that country.

It's mean.

If you're going without a guide I'd spend A LOT of time on OnX, Google Earth etc. etc. marking any possible water source. They exist up high, you just gotta be able to find them.

Hello , I spent many years in there , also getting a ram . Helped a half dozen people who have got a tag . I could point you in the right direction. Nate

I have been on a few sheep hunts in there. It’s tough country with little water. One of the toughest but most rewarding sheep hunts you can go on.

I'll be at the trailhead on the 25th w/ a tag in pocket. Anyone willing to trade tips/pointers for elk/muleys in Units 27/21/18, vets that wanting to increased ratings, or just another hunting brother, please let me know.
