Found it....... Perforating Hoglets at night with thermal...

View from my 20' eye-height open air quad-pod. Absolutely perfect night. No breeze, +'- 65 degrees. Twenty miles from the nearest light source, so no light pollution. Boucoup stars and an incredible view of the Milky Way.

+/- 90 yds.

It is a game changer.

First Boar came in about 8:30 PM.

As you can observe, they seem to think they are the top of the food chain.

It may seem inhumane to watch, but he is DRT, just don't know it yet. Sever the spine and they drop and paddle. If they go halfway around I put another round on the underside of the throat. Usually settles their hash.

Looks like a perfect setup you've got there.

That thermal optic is the Bering Optics Super Yoter R, 3-12 X 50mm.

I've a number of rifles but in the last three or four months it has become my go-to set-up for perforating hoglets!
