I like Cat season

I like cat trapping , here in pa. The season starts mid December and we can keep one a year. Been saving them for over a decade, at first I wasnt sure what to make with them then I had a granddaughter. She is near 11 year old now . I am have a coat made for her high-school graduation present. Let's see some cat photos.

Bobcats are our main target. Didn't catch one last year.

In PA the one cat per year has nothing to do with government, but management. A multi harvest quota per hunter would not be sustainable.

sniper they are all Wyoming cats. I think we have only taken one under 40 ", maybe 2.
They all weighed 30+ lbs, toms much bigger but a couple of nice females.
We tend to keep all our trapped cats, even females unless they are very small.

Hoping to catch more than a couple this year, buyer is looking for good cats.

This tom was nice and not our largest by far, had him tanned because we used a diff. buyer and he offered lowball price.
Last few years the market took off on bobcats, Westerns that is.

Thank you, it was the last trap I checked that day, the only catch that day, and it was totally worth it!
That trap sat for 19 days before it caught.

Those cats really do have some nice fur and color on them! I get a mixed bag in Minnesota.
