Has anyone used one? $600 is pricey for a quilt *YIKES* I'm trying to figure out
how it could be any better than my Enlightened Equipment Enigma in 20 Degree
Regular/Wide. At EE you can choose 850 GDD or 950 GGD and the color and the
denier number plus you can add a draft collar. The Hyperlite Mountain Gear quilt
has 1000 GGD coated with DWR. I don't know, that greyish white is Gucci though.

That's true. There are many great USA made quilts. Loco Libre, EE, WM, FF, to name but a few.

I ended up order one from Hammock Gear for my wife's present. I am not hungry up in country if origin per say, more so by the fact that if I needed a repair or something was sewn poorly etc, there's a middle man (HMG) in that process. I have a thing for buying stuff from the people whose hands make it when possible.

UGQ and Gryffon Gear make great down insulation gear as well. Handmade in the US. Would recommend giving them a look. IMO, 1000fp down is too costly unless you are a fastpacker going for FKTs.
