Shit weather calls for prototyping. Got some exciting changes to be made. First prototype is complete, still need to do a burn in but should work fine as it's essentially the same frame as the first model. I took out the air vents which increased the size of the door opening. I turned the door into a hinge system. This does two things-it still allows you to easily remove the door which i find is nice when you're first starting the first. It then slides into place, essentially the same way as before but now there is a latch on the left side that allows it to function like a traditional door. I also added an air intake system into the door to allow you to restrict air flow. The belly support has also been shorten so it's only in the middle as there is really no reason for support the whole way up the sides.

Let me know what you think! This version is about 3 oz less than the initial version (18"-28oz vs 25oz) so I'm happy about that. I also have some changes being made to the damper so I'll post up photos once that is done. Overall, the design is even more simple, still takes no assembly, has no loose hardware and is still as sturdy as the first version. It's also easier to manufacture so that's always a plus.

It would be retrofittable. You would just need a new front panel, as long as you don't mind that the back has the support going the whole way across and the front would only be in the bottom.
Would you be able to send me the new panel or is it something you need to make the modifications.

I've got the larger stove also. Haven't used it yet as I am buying my camp in pieces and started with the stove. Hopefully this spring I'll be getting a large tent
