So what's a guy have to do to convince Hoyt to be present at Kalamazoo or Compton with their hunting lineup; trad type? I asked Matt about it once.

Don't think there's enough of a following for them to be profitable there. Just my opinion though, I've never been.

I think the issue is that Compton and the other big trad shoots are normally attended by the died in the wool trad guys. I think a lot of the people just getting into trad from compounds are the audience that Hoyt is targeting with their recurves. People who shoot Hoyt compounds and are loyal to them are likely to buy a Hoyt if they want to shoot traditional. Primative guys building self bows or backed bows, knapping points and tieing their own strings are not looking for a metal riser and those that are will probably buy a Tradtech by Lancaster, who have been attending those shoots for years. Just my .02

Could be, Super K. I've been and have seen all sorts of contraptions. Trad guys are typically nicer and if not interested could care less. There's a lot of Titan, Morrison, DAS and other metal riser sporting trad fellas out there. I am willing to also bet that if there was a stack of their bows hanging up they'd be noticed and shot.

Oh I am sure if they came out they would get shot and ogled. I guess it's not part of their business plan, I would shoot one if given the chance just to try it out. But I am a low wrist grip kinda guy which is why I shoot long bows. I am going up to Lancaster in the spring to shoot a Titan III with a low wrist Jager grip, If I like it I will set it up to shoot off the shelf find some arrows that work and run them through some critters.
